Haley Dennis is a movement artist based in Chicago. In May 2019 she graduated with a degree in Dance and Cultural Studies, Haley's practice is heavily influenced by research, writing, and improvisation. She has a strong interest in investigating performance while enhancing her curiosity with ethnographic research, focusing on observance of bodies and physical practices. Dramaturgy has been her most recent expansion into her movement practice. Fusing her passion for observing bodies in motion and research, she hopes to continue celebrating the use of both practice and theory in her role as a maker, mover, and thinker.
