ARTIST STATEMENT
I am interested in exploring ways in which the body can act as a tool. Utilizing inspiration from films, writing, food, and visual art I find that absorbing multiple artistic modalities in the world inspires myself to think differently, aiding in material to utilize in choreographic endeavors. My personal practice is rooted in long improvisational scores and writing as my main interest in the field of dance is choreography. I aim to continue researching ways the body can be explored through research both individually and through interactions with others.
